Glasgow City Centre Wedding
23 Montrose Street, Glasgow is the perfect venue for a micro wedding in Scotland. Cozy and classic, the wedding ceremony rooms are just the right size for small weddings and elopements. And the location is ideal- as far as Glasgow wedding venues go it doesn’t get much more central than this!

A non-traditional wedding day
Rosie + Neil planned a small wedding celebration in Glasgow as it’s the city they started their life in together. They travelled up from England with their closest family and friends for a relaxed registrar wedding ceremony followed by a lovely afternoon tea at Corinthian Club, Glasgow for the wedding reception.
In between we went on a wedding photo adventure around Glasgow City Centre! We stopped off to make the most of the art, murals and architecture with a few classic Glasgow backdrops thrown in for good measure. When it comes to Glasgow wedding photography, the city centre has so many cool spots- especially if you’re up for a bit of a trek like these two were!
There’s something about urban wedding photography that just feels alternative by nature. The juxtaposition of two people in love, dressed in their best, against a bustling city backdrop- I’m always drawn to it. The contrast, the edginess, the textures and the colours. And if you’re getting married in Glasgow city centre, your wedding photography can range from shots under classic arches and art deco doorways, against street art and colourful murals, or sandstone ruins and iconic statues. There is no shortage of cool spots here!

Planning their day, their own way
What made Rosie + Neil’s day extra special was their decision to do it their way. Non traditional weddings are always the most fun to photograph! When couples keep the traditions they love, and get rid of the ones they don’t there are no regrets. No matter what the wedding magazines will tell you, there are no rules when it comes to planning a wedding in Scotland (or anywhere, for that matter!)
Rosie + Neil chose a small guest list and a non traditional wedding schedule, walking in together to say their I Do’s. Especially unique, they stuck to their own alternative style when it came to choosing their wedding attire.

The bride wore pink & sparkles, and the groom picked a modern yet retro inspired suit. The perfect combination, especially for their wedding photos around Glasgow city centre. (Also, can we take a moment to appreciate Rosie’s incredible shoes?)
More weddings like this, please! Speaking of which…
