Athena + Gary at @cottiersglasgow (and 📸 in Kelvin Athena + Gary at @cottiersglasgow (and 📸 in Kelvingrove Park) A little bit Scottish, a little bit German, a little bit American- and a lot of personal details made this wedding one of a kind. Athena is super creative and made the arch, the handfasting rope, table decor, the seating plan and loads of other bits and bobs herself! Friends and family added custom made signage, flowers and all kind of other special touches. And Gary certainly has a way with words. It’s important to be clear about what you believe It’s important to be clear about what you believe in: in life but also in business. I do not believe you can separate your morals and beliefs from your work- especially not when your work is as personal as mine. Being trusted to capture the most important and emotional moments of your life: proposals, elopements, weddings. Being welcomed into your home to document your children. These things are about as personal as it gets- and for that experience to be positive for both of us, we need to be on the same page with the stuff that matters. We can disagree on whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it does) or whether guns and roses are a great band (not my cuppa tea, but you do you). But we cannot disagree on whether all human beings deserve the same rights (they do- and I’m not willing to argue on that point).
