I met Lochlan for the first time last spring, when he was just a few weeks old, for his newborn photography session in Glasgow. His baby led newborn session was done in my previous Glasgow photography studio, as was his six month sitter session just a few months later. It has been amazing to get to know this family, and to watch Lochlan grow over the past year!
I love when clients choose my first year photo package (newborn, six month & first birthday cake smash photography sessions at one special package price), as it allows me to watch their wee one grow from a tiny newborn to a curious baby and then on to one year old who is full of personality!
Lochlan’s first year session took place at my new Finnieston photography studio in Glasgow West End, a quiet & cozy space with lots of natural light.
From there we brought the cake out, and the rest pretty much explains itself! I managed to capture a few shots of the aftermath before it all got swept away, a great example of why cake smash sessions are best done in studio (where your photographer is responsible for cleaning up the mess!)
