When it came to their wedding day, Nicola & Ian were as laid back as they come: the most important thing to them was that their family and friends have a fun day- my kind of wedding! Nicola wasn’t showing any nerves at all when I arrived to photograph bridal prep, but their was an excited buzz around the house!
From there we headed over to the Georgian Hotel for the wedding, a lovely and unique venue in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. You could tell by the look in Ian’s face that he was more than pleased with the appearance of his stunning bride, and their beautiful ceremony was lighthearted and fun, with lots of laughs and no shortage of smiles from the happy couple.
Kids always make for great photos at a wedding and the couple’s son Matthew, along with his wee pals, kept me smiling all afternoon! Though the rain came on and off we managed to get most of our photos done outdoors as these two had hoped, and even snuck out again after dinner for some romantic sunset shots (always my favourite!)
