Angela & Brian chose Croy Shore in Ayr, Scotland as the location for their engagement session, as it’s a place they often like to visit on weekends. Their 15 month old puppy, Hamish, came along for the shoot as it’s one of his favourite spots too (furry family members are most welcome for all of my portrait photography sessions)!
We took a nice long walk down the beach, making for a relaxed photography session for everyone involved! Hamish got lots of running and playing in, and mum and dad managed to convince him to sit still for a couple of family photos as well!
As a professional photographer, I love shooting beach engagement shoots in Scotland, as the scenery is always stunning and in spring you can bet there won’t be a lot of people around! Much easier for couples to relax and be themselves in front of the camera when there aren’t crowds of people watching them, and makes for a more intimate feel to the session as well.
