R & C travelled all the way from Toronto, Canada to the Scottish Highlands for an adventure photography session to celebrate their engagement. A couple who love travel, adventure and exploring new places on foot, they decided to venture out into the mountains for dramatic scenery and some epic photos to remember their trip to Scotland by.
One of the best parts of being a photographer is getting to know the people I work with, people from different places and different walks of life. Most of the couples who choose me are adventurous, fun loving and laid back, have a major case of the travel bug and are looking for a relaxed and fun experience and some natural, creative photos to remember it by. (Lucky me!)
From R & C’s very first message I knew we would work well together, and with them being overseas we managed to coordinate all the details by email, from what to wear to where to meet to what they hoped to capture. Major bonus points for these two, who had a coffee waiting for me when we met up on the morning of our adventure session (my clients are the best). We spent the early hours hiking through Glencoe, through valleys and up into the mountains, and found so many lovely spots along the way to stop and take in the views. They were good sports when what started as a clear day turned into a cold, hazy morning and didn’t let the rain stop them from having an amazing time exploring Glencoe- my kind of people. R & C recently got engaged and their joy and excitement was infectious- I had the best time capturing this happy pair and their love for one another.
Here are just a few of my favourite images from our Glencoe adventure photo session, if this doesn’t inspire you to plan an adventure with the person you love I don’t know what will!
