I love an urban wedding. First, the contrast between romance and the hustle and bustle of a busy city. Next, add in the architecture, the details, and the atmosphere. Finally, (and best of all) is the juxtaposition of two people connecting and just being in the moment, no matter how much commotion is happening around them.

Edinburgh is such a beautiful city to get married in. When it comes to wedding photography there are endless possibilities for places to discover with a camera! But for this couple, the city meant much more than a beautiful backdrop…

Michelle & Jamie’s Story

Edinburgh is the city Michelle & Jamie first called home together, after many (pandemic-lengthened) months of having a long distance relationship Michelle & Jamie were reunited here. How romantic!

Warm and friendly, Michelle was bubbling with excitement to finally say “I Do”. Equally enthused, Jamie had some great ideas for wedding photo spots around Edinburgh after wandering around the city on his days off. Together we put together a plan for a little adventure session on their wedding day, some time to go exploring together after the ceremony and snap some beautiful photos along the way. They could not have been easier (or more fun!) to work with and we had a brilliant time hopping in and out of taxis as we wandered around the city.
