Wanna elope to Scotland?

You’ve chosen a helluva place to do it! You can (legally) get married anywhere in Scotland and we really do have it all: whether you want to hike up a cliff with the wind blowing wildly in your hair, find a quiet, romantic spot beside a beautiful loch, or say ‘I do’ in the hustle and bustle of an ancient city there is something for every couple amidst the varying Scottish landscapes.
So you’ve decided to elope, because you like to do things your own way. You’re a little bit adventurous, and I bet you love to explore together. You don’t love being the centre of attention and know that your ceremony will be more special with just the two of you.
Whatever your reason, elopements are unique, stripped back and one of a kind – and they are pretty darn romantic too.

Planning your elopement in Scotland

I can help! The perks of hiring a Scotland elopement photographer is that I’ve photographed elopements all across the country and I know some great elopement locations in the highlands, islands, and within the central belt too. If you’re up for a hike and some incredible mountains, a Scottish highlands elopement will be right up your alley.
Glencoe is a popular spot for elopements but there are lots of quieter places to get married in the highlands too. If you want dramatic- elope to the Isle of Skye where cliffs are plentiful and the weather is adventurous!
Prefer a serene spot? There is no shortage of stunning lochs or beautiful woodlands all across the mainland. And what could be more romantic than a castle elopement in Scotland…

So why choose me as your Scotland elopement photographer?

Apart from being friendly and laid back, I won’t make you do any awkward poses or cheesy grins – no cringey stuff I promise!
I approach elopement photography with a focus on capturing real, candid moments and emotions and keeping things as natural and relaxed as possible.
I decided to become a specialist Scotland elopement photographer and take on small weddings a long time ago because they are close to my heart. I love working with couples who do things their own way, who are laid back and focused on the most important thing about their wedding: marrying the person you love. I just celebrated my fifth wedding anniversary and I’m so glad we planned our day our own way – small, relaxed and true to who we are as a couple – and those are the kind of weddings I love to shoot.

Let’s have an adventure

I love to work with couples who are up for a wee adventure – I LOVE being on the road, travelling to new places and I especially enjoy exploring spots that are off the beaten track. I’ve visited almost everywhere in Scotland and I’ve been to 25 countries to date. I’ve photographed elopements and weddings in Ireland, England and Canada – and as far as the Caribbean once!

If you follow me over on Instagram you’ll notice I am always out adventuring, in Scotland and abroad, often with my family in tow- it’s a lifestyle we love and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

“An absolute pleasure to work with”

We planned our destination wedding from abroad, travelling from central Canada to Dublin, Ireland to get married, and she helped so much with our planning; she even coordinated a florist for us. On the wedding day she was such a calm and kind presence – she fit in so well with myself and the bridesmaids that I kept having to remind myself she was there to photograph! The photos were beyond my expectations. She captured such amazing shots that we will forever treasure.
